I know about dance, like the creationist knows about science, and typically treat it with a similar contempt

About This Quote

The first time I heard this quote I thought it was funny. I thought that the author of this quote was trying to show that he is not a bad dancer by using a simple pun. It took me a while to realize that the same author who said, "I know about dance, like the creationist knows about science" meant something more important. The author of this quote is showing how someone who does not believe in science cannot understand the subject matter at all.

The same holds true with dance. If you do not know what you are talking about, then you cannot have an accurate opinion without bias.
